When a device (computer or laptop) is not connected to the Netgear WiFi range extender wired or wirelessly, you cannot open mywifiext.net.

If you fail to access Netgear mywifiext login page, then following error messages appear on your home screen:

  • The web browser 'Google Chrome' displays - 'Unable to connect to the Internet'. On the other hand, it also displays 'Google Chrome can't display the webpage because your computer/ laptop isn't connected to the Internet' (without quotes).

  • Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer display 'You are not connected to a network' or 'Page cannot be displayed' (without quotes).

A worth remembering point to remember - If there are any typos in typing mywifiext the web address, then you cannot open Netgear genie login page and can never give your Netgear WiFi extender setup a successful end.

If you want to troubleshoot Netgear extender mywifiext login error, then follow the steps given below:

  • Keep your Netgear WiFi range extender in the same room as of your main wireless router.
